2026 Cowtown Scavenger Hunt
How to Play
2 cows will be hidden each day from Friday August 7th through Friday August 14th. Via the Ellsworth Coop Facebook page, a clue for one cow will be revealed at 8:00am and the second cow's clue will be revealed at 12:00pm. One cow per person.
All cows will be hidden in open areas so no need to enter any buildings or look in an enclosed items (trash cans, cabinets, etc). All cows will be hidden in public areas or around local businesses in Ellsworth; no cows will be hidden on residential property.
Found a cow? Return that cow to the Ellsworth Coop between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. We are located at 100 N Kansas Ave (the small white building with the blue scale in front, next to the white grain elevator).

El-Kan Western Riders
What You Win
Finding a cow means you will receive a $50 cash prize along with a family pack of rodeo tickets (2 adult and 2 child tickets). These rodeo tickets will grant you admission to the El-Kan Western Riders Rodeo on either Friday August 14th or Saturday August 15th.
Finding a cow also automatically enters you into a Grand Prize drawing of $250. We will draw 2 winners of $250 each on Friday August 14th after the last cow has been found!
One cow per person.
